So, the second installment of the Gears of War trilogy. It continues six months on from where the first one left off. The COG dropped the Lightmass bomb into the Locust hive, thinking they had eliminated their enemies for good. But how wrong they were. The Locusts have come back, stronger and tougher than before. Now under heavy fire, The COG army has one option left: Attack!

Once again, you follow the story as Marcus Fenix, along with Dominic Santiago, Augustus Cole, Damon Baird and Dizzy Wallin.

What I love most about this game are the graphics. Now, im sure all shoot 'em up players will agree with me, there is nothing more satisfying that pulling off a clean headshot on you enemy. In most games, all that happens is the enemy just falls to the ground. With Gears of War 2, you enemies head blow off with a satisfying splat

There is also alot of variety in the game, From fighting chainsaw battles, To headshotting Locusts, to hiding from a Grinder, to riding a Brumark! There is so much to do in this game, and thats what keeps it fun and interesting.

The only problem now is the online mode. As it is now a little old, not as many people play it online anymore, so matchmaking can be slow and tiresome. I waited 1 hours once before I could find a game! But there is usually one game everyday that everyone player, so you just need to find the game that everyone is playing

But dont let this put you off, it is an amazing game, well worth playing. I would recommend playing Gears of War 1 first, as it will give you the background info of the game.
