Review Summary:''Final Fantasy 13 is a very well made game from a production values point of view. If you're never played a Final Fantasy game, I think you would like this game. If you're a veteran Final Fantasy player that tends to favor the more old school games like Final Fantasy 4,6,7,9 and 10, you will be entertained until it’s over. However, you will feel disappointed overall. This isn't a bad game at all. It just lacks the emotional content, developed plot and subplots, fleshed out characters you can care about or hate, and all the extra things to find and do that I've come to expect from previous entries into the series.
I do admit that I did enjoy this game over these past few days. Unfortunately, in the time it's taken me to write this review, its already a distant memory. Like a mindless fun action movie, I suspended my disbelief long enough to appreciate this game for what it is. This game isn't anything I'd play a second time. Take that for what it’s worth.'' | |
