| E3 Close Standing (Wii)26m ago | News | Wii | E3 is hard. The grip of monotonous press conferences, overlapping appointments, games to play, people to talk to, and drinks to drink quickly transformed us from skeptical but eager journos into bags of dehydrated flesh and tangled wires. After considerably little thought, our response to the whole thing was, "To hell with it, why should we try to think of interesting things to say about avatars, REM, and make-believe saxophones when ...

| FFVII on PS3 is -- You Guessed It -- "Rumor and Speculation"26m ago | News | Industry News | Square Enix PR reps are, believe it or not, just like you and me -- with one major exception. They wake up each morning, slip into their trousers one leg at a time, gulp down a Final Fantasy potion energy drink, and dash out the door. However, upon arriving at the office, if Square Enix PR doesn't find a frantically-written query about FFVII on the PS3, the day is lost. So with the bundle of emails they likely received today, I'm sure the party hats are out in full force.
Here's the rumor, and here's Square Enix's response. "We won't comment on rumor and speculation, etc."
That's really all there is to it. Maybe we'll hear something at Square Enix's Party event that takes place in a couple weeks, but I doubt it. We'll be lucky if they give us 15 seconds of new FFXIII footage. Shame, that.
